site specific installation
In this installation, a surface of water is transformed into a “liquid lens” in which waves are generated and refract three sources of light that propagate in space. Solenoid valves allow the drops to fall at different points with programmed rhythms, creating complex shapes, waves, colours, and interference fringes. The work is a contemplative, hypnotic, symbolic exercise of perception into which the public must subjectively immerse itself.
